Dear Sundaresh,
My name is Frank Lee. I am writing to you about a very serious matter.
On May 21st, the Supreme Court conducted a fake hearing. There was a hearing in my case HC/OC 324/2026 before Judge Andre Maniam regarding five summonses and an appeal.
Immediately upon the end of this 2-3 hour hearing, Judge Andre took 15-20 minutes to read a lengthy judgment. It was evident that the judgment had been prepared ahead of time.
But this is not all. Judge Andre had five hearings the week of May 21st for five different cases. There is absolutely no way that Judge Andre read through all of the documents in my case and wrote the judgment, in the same week as he had hearings for four other cases.
This then means that what happened is the following:
- A different unidentified Supreme Court employee passed down judgment.
- Judge Andre went into the May 21st hearing biased.
- Judge Andre determined that he didn’t hear enough to overturn the pre-prepared judgment.
- Judge Andre passed off another person’s judgment as his own.
This means that there is corruption at the Singapore Supreme Court. If this were to be standard operating procedure, then Justice wouldn’t exist in Singapore, and the entire Singapore Supreme Court would be a facade.
Please tell me that this is not standard operating procedure, that you will investigate this matter, that you will take severe action against these corrupt individuals, and that you will make sure that my case is managed by non-corrupt individuals going forward.
Moreover, the judgment starts with the sentence:
“The claimant is dissatisfied with being detained and treated at the IMH”
If the unidentified court employee who wrote this judgment read my Statement of Claim, which details accounts of severe torture, sleep deprivation, involuntary brain alteration, and other severe human rights violations, it by itself determined that these are lies, because obviously no one is “dissatisfied” with having been tortured and the victim of involuntary brain alteration.
